National Primary Route 9 Traffic Counts

The new M9 motorway was opened between 2008 and 2010. Traffic has grown slowly, and mainly only at the northern end. The southern end at Mullinavat is just above 10k vehicles per day, and Kilkenny is showing an even lower level since much of the traffic is accessing Kilkenny city here and not bypassing it.
